Music is important to everyone, no matter their stage of life, age, or natural ability. Nothing else shapes our lives, touches our soul, and connects us to ourselves the way music does.
Learning to play the piano can foster a lifelong appreciation and love for music. Furthermore, a commitment to practice also sharpens important life skills like creativity, concentration, and perseverance. I absolutely love being a part of every student's musical journey of self-discovery.
88 Keys Piano Studio helps students discover their own musical path and become self-motivated, independent learners. Student's curricula are customized to their individual goals, although everyone will first build a strong foundation in sight-reading and the solid practice techniques required for expressive musical performances. Once they have this foundation, students may choose to focus more on improvisation, composition, ensemble work, theory, or ear training. Every student will receive encouragement and constructive feedback. In the process, they'll increase their musical IQ, learn to analyze and refine their performance, and build self-confidence in their ability. There are yearly recitals in which students can choose repertoire to perfect and perform.
